This Photo by Unknown Author is licensed under CC BY-SA PHASE II – RAD CONVERSION OF THE S C AT T E R E D ( F A M I LY ) H O M E S Our Work Is Not Done The Housing Commission’s Scattered (Family) Homes in the City Meet A Critical Housing Need We have three units in grave disrepair the cost of making these three units livable again is $160,000+ There are no public housing funds to restore these units The Detroit Field Office of public housing had us place those units on long-term modernization The only way for these units to continue to meet the critical housing need, is RAD Conversion PHASE II T H E PAT H F O RW A R D • Commissioners are committed to keeping this housing stock for the very low, and extremely low-income families of our community • The Housing Commission is exploring all options • Conversations • Monthly meetings with City Manager Bill Gambill • Soon we will expand the conversation with other community leaders • Our Goal: Submit a 9% tax-credit application for the April 2023 round (kindly mark your calendars)
