MANISTEE AREA P E G.COMMISSTON MEETING MINUTES July 25,2001 A regulazly scheduled meeting of the Manistee Area P, G.E Commission was held on July 25, 2001 at 6: 00 p. m. in the first floor Conference Room at City Hall, 70 Maple Street, Manistee, Michigan. MEMBERS PRESENT: F. Balcer, Lee Sprague, J. Mencarelli, M. Tillotson, J. Ball, M. Carlson MEMBERS ABSENT: K.Lewis OTHERS PRESENT: T, Collins, There was a motion by Balcer, seconded by Lewis to accept the minutes of the previous meeting. Motion passed 4-0 Channel update - M. Carlson reported that programming is going well,more tabs are needed to delineate programs. The problem with viewing Charter information on the bottom of the screen has been corrected. Bylaws and policy revisions - Sprague made a motion requesting tha.t Scrimger add the language necessary togain FCC to the Manistee Area Public Access Policy and forward to the City Manager and City Attorney for review. Fund raising ideas - Mencarelli has information from LRSB for the next grant cycle, He will proceed to prepare an application. Sprague mentioned the information he brought to the last meeting. Note: K. Lewis stopped and asked to be excused for a family emergency. T. Collins asked if the commission could arrange someone to tap.e future meetings. Scrimger will bring one of the Panasonic cameras to each meeting. The date of the next meeting was set as August 22, 2001, The meeting was adjourned at approxirnately 6:45 PM.
