P.E.G. Commission

MANISTEE AREA P. G.E COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES Octuber 24,2001 A regularly scheduled meeting af the Manistee Area P.E.G.Commission was held on October 24,2001 at 6: 15 p. m. in the first floor Conference Room at City Ha11, 70 Maple Street, Manistee, Michigan. MEMBERS PRESENT: F. Balcer, J. Mencarelli, M. Tillotsan, J. Ball, M. Carlson, MEMBERS ABSENT: Lee Sprague, OTHERS PRESENT: T. Collins, Mrs. Frank Balcer, Mitch Deisch There was a motion by Batcer, seconded by Lewis to accept the minutes of the previous meeting. Motion passed 5- 0 Carlson reported that logs are now being printed and should be caught up in the near future. He has had Oak Hill electronics look at the equipment and they will work out a schedule to clean equipment. There was some discussion about the city negotiating a contract to do regular cleaning of equipment. Scrimger was directed to work to notify all entities sending to PEG by mail of the address change. Bylaws and Policies revisions - Scrimger reported that he still has not had a response from the city attorney.This will be made a priority till the next meeting There was a motion by Batl, second by Tillotson to adjourn to an executive session to discuss personnel issues. Motion passed 6- 0 Commissioners returned from executive session at approximately 7: 40 PM. After a short discussion about billing,Mark Carlson was directed to submit bills to Mike Tillotson. He will in turn submit bills to the city treasurer for payment. Tex Collins spoke on a number of issues. The date of the next meeting was set as November 28, 2001. The meeting was adjourned at approximately 8: 00 PM.
