441"I E 1* MANISTEE AREA PEG COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES March 10,2009 A regularly scheduled meeting of the Manistee Area PEG Cammission was held on March 9, 2009 at 6: m. in the conference room of the Manistee High School, 525 Twel$ 30 p. h Street, Manistee, Michigan. MEMBERS PRESENT: Ervin,Freeburg,Trucks, Kruse, Sandstedt MEMBERS ABSENT: Wrzesinski (excused), Zaring (resigned) OTHERS PRESENT: K.Brown, S. Scrimger There was a motion by Freeburg, seconded by Kruse to approve the agenda as submitted. Motion passed 4-0 There was a motion by Kruse, seconded by Ervin,to approve the minutes of the November 10, 2008 and January 12, 2009 meeting. Motion passed 4-0 Mark Sandstedt arrived at 6: 35 p. m. Mark Sandstedt presented the results of the survey done in Filer Township. Results will be presented to Filer with a request to authorize equipment grant. Mark will also write a press release for the News Advocate. Item VI,items ( b)postponed until F/Y 2009/2014. a& There was a motion by Freeburg, seconded by Kruse to nominate Lee Trucks as Chairman. Motion passed 5-0 There was a motion to nominate Mark Sandstedt as Vice- Chairman. Motion passed 5-0 Dan Freeburg was nominated by acclamation as Secretary. There was a motion by Kruse, seconded by Freeburg to accept the budget as presented. Motion passed 5-0 The next meeting date is set for Monday, May 11, 2009 at 6: m. in the conference room at 30 p. the Manistee High School. There was a motion hy Freeburg seconded by Sandstedt to adjourn at approximately 7: 10 p. m.
