attachedtotheseminutes).
UNFINISHEDBUSINESS.
ProposalforManisteeCountyBoardofCommissioners. BrownandSandstedtmadeapresentationto
theCountyWays & MeansCommitteeonSeptember5,2013requesting $5,400tofund the
videotapingandbroadcastingofthemonthlyCountyCommissionermeetings.TheWays & Means
Committeehasreferredtheirrequesttothewholeboardatawor
September11,2013. Alternativeoptionswerediscussedincasealoweramountwasoffere
NEWBUSINESS.
ProgressonVideoSoundstage. Brownreportedthatthesoundstageisnotquiteoperationalyet;
thereisalearningcurveforhimandthestudents; kidsareall
partoftheirgradeornot,itmakesadifferenceontheirlearn
LowPowerFMRadioLicense. SandstedtstatedthathewasapproachedbyVinceHancockregardi
FCCopeningfornon-profitgroupstoapplyforalicensetobroadcastlowpowerFMr
openingwasavailablewas10yearsago. Broadcastingislimitedtoa5mileradius. Afterdiscussion,
theCommissiondecidedtopassonthisopportunity.
