City of Manistee Parks Commission Work Session Minutes Thursday, March 3, 2022 Members Present: Liz Laskey, Kelly Greve, Tim O’Connor, Karin Maue Others Present: Ed Tegler, Councilmember Martin Pontiac, Jennifer Teller, DPW Director Jeff Mikula A work session of the Manistee Parks Commission was held on Thursday, March 3, 2022, at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall in the Second Floor Conference Room. Work session was called to order at 5:35 p.m. by Chair O’Connor. Morton Park Improvements Discussion included: • Slide • Swing set • Benches and picnic tables • Shade structures • Dog bags • Refuse • Water • Port-a-Jon • Fence repairs • Soccer/Football field striping • Trees • Grills • Bike racks • Lighting Jeff Mikula will work on the budget and provide to the commission.
