TREE COMMISSION MEETING V1ST0-- e1* z/ MINUTES AUGUST 13, 2007 NEEMBERS PRESENT: Pat Sagala, Pam Schindlbeck, Pat Williams MEMBERS ABSENT: Mary Ann Johnson, Bob 7ohnson, Nicole Clyne Priscilla Rulison OTHERS PRESENT: Jack Garber, StaffLiaison,Kathie Boyle Pat Sagala called meeting to order at 5: 00 p. rn. Motion by Pat W. second by Pam to accept June 11, 2007 Minutes and place on file. OLD BUSINESS Tree Planting 2007: Dufon Landscaping planted a tree at the Waterworks Building in honor of Bob Davis for his years of service to the Tree Commission. Jack will get a plaque for tree. ChalkArt Contest: Was held on Friday,June 29,2007 at the fountain (Pine & River Street).Was another success - everyone was happy and didn't have to turn away any children from the contest. GOOD OF THE ORDER None NEW BUSINESS Tree Planting 2008: Discussed tree planting program - will again be done in spring of 2008. Tree Inspection: 7ack will get with Bob Johnson to look at trees for trimming or cutting. Resignation: Accepted with regret resignation from Nicole Clyne. There being no further business, Motion by Pat W.,second by Pam that we adjourn. All in favor.
