TREE COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES JUNE 3, 2019 MEMBERS PRESENT: Gerald Haw, Sue Verheek, Cookie Friedrich, Janice Waterman, Bob Johnson, Pat William, Pat Sagala OTHERS PRESENT: Kathie Boyle – City of Manistee A regular meeting of the Manistee Tree Commission was called to order by Chair Janice Waterman on Monday, June 3, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. in the lunch room at City Hall. CITIZEN/PUBLIC COMMENT N/A APPROVAL OF MINUTES Motion by Haw, second by Sagala to approve April 1, 2019 minutes and place on file. All in Favor. Motion by Friedrich, second by Haw to approve May 6, 2019 minutes and place on file. All in Favor UNFINISHED BUSINESS N/A NEW BUSINESS N/A Comments Bushes at 8th & Kosciusko need to be trim – hindering the bottom of stop sign. Discussed Consumer’s Energy contractor on how they trim trees in the City. Motion by Friedrich, second by Sagala to cancel July 1, 2019 meeting. All in Favor. Motion by Sagala second by Johnson to adjourn at 5:15 p.m. Next meeting date – Monday, August 5, 2019 @ 5:00 p.m. in the lunch room at City Hall.
