Call to Order Present: 8- Nickels, Brey, Vanderkin, Koski, McDaniel, Reed-Kadow, Alfred and Reckelberg 2. Public Hearing on Special Assessments for Public Improvements of S. 15th St., Including New Sanitary Sewer and Sanitary Building Sewers Thereon Mayor declared the meeting open for a public hearing on this matter. No interested parties appeared to address the Board regarding this item. Mayor declared the public hearing closed. 3. Bids for 2022 Concrete Paving Program, Project WS-22-1 City Clerk reported having received one (1) e-bid. Same was opened and accepted online through Quest, and is as follows: Vinton Construction Company, Bid Bond, $1,219,556.00 Moved by McDaniel, seconded by Reckelberg, to refer the bid to the Director of Public Infrastructure for tabulation and recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 8- Nickels, Brey, Vanderkin, Koski, McDaniel, Reed-Kadow, Alfred and Reckelberg 4. Bids for 2022 Seal Coating Program, Project WS-22-6 City Clerk reported having received two (2) e-bids. Same were opened and accepted online through Quest, and are as follows: Fahrner Asphalt Sealers, LLC, Bid Bond, $146,169.48 Scott Construction, Inc, Bid Bond, $167,336.69 Moved by McDaniel, seconded by Alfred, to refer the bid to the Director of Public Infrastructure for tabulation and recommendation. Same was opened and accepted in the City Clerk's Office, and is as follows: Utility Sales, $291,172.00 Moved by Brey, seconded by McDaniel, to refer the quotes to the Director of Public Infrastructure for tabulation and recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 8- Nickels, Brey, Vanderkin, Koski, McDaniel, Reed-Kadow, Alfred and Reckelberg 6. Agreement with Treeo's Tree Service, Inc. for ash tree removal and stump grinding throughout the City for a contract price of $24,915.00, AGMT-22-04 Moved by McDaniel, seconded by Reckelberg, to enter into the agreement. Pay Estimates, Various Engineering/Public Works Projects City Clerk submitted the following City Engineer's estimates for approval and payment: Strand Associates Inc., Stormwater Quality Management Plan, Project #3516.031, Est #1, $1,605.00 Strand Associates Inc., South 19th Pumping Station, Project #3516.029, Est #5, $5,983.59 BC Signs & Graphics LLC, Wayfinding Signage, AGMT-22-02, Est #1, $7,266.00 Strand Associates Inc., South 14th Street Lift Station and Force, Project #3516.030, Est #2, $1,123.30 Moved by McDaniel, seconded by Koski, that these payments be approved.
