Call to Order Present: 7- Nickels, Vanderkin, Koski, McDaniel, Reed-Kadow, Reckelberg and Lynch Absent: 1- Brey 2. Bids for Auto Lock Installation at Park Restroom Facilities - Rebid, project #WB-22-17R City Clerk reported having received one (1) e-bid. Same was opened and accepted online through Quest, and is as follows: LaForce Inc., Bid Bond, $38,401.00 Moved by Reed-Kadow, seconded by Vanderkin, to refer the bid to the Director of Public Infrastructure for tabulation and recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 7- Nickels, Vanderkin, Koski, McDaniel, Reed-Kadow, Reckelberg and Lynch 3. Snow Removal Appeal 22-0380 Request to rescind snow removal assessment for property at 955 N. 6th St. A representative for the property owner was present via Zoom and available to answer questions. Moved by Nickels, seconded by Reckelberg, to rescind the assessment with the property owner to understand there would not be additional appeals granted within the next year. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 5- Nickels, Vanderkin, McDaniel, Reed-Kadow and Reckelberg Nay: 2- Koski and Lynch 4. Agreement with Cretton Enterprises for 2022-2024 Flower Maintenance & Weed Control in various areas throughout the City of Manitowoc at a cost of $17,650.48 for 2022; $17,248.65 for 2023; and $17,918.65 for 2024 Moved by Reckelberg, seconded by Vanderkin, to enter into the agreement. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 7- Nickels, Vanderkin, Koski, McDaniel, Reed-Kadow, Reckelberg and Lynch 6. Change Orders City Clerk submitted the following change orders for approval: Vinton Construction Co., CO #8 for 2021 River Point Development Phase I, WS-21-15, +$7,009.00 Kruczek Construction, CO #1 for 2022 Watermain Construction South of Viebahn St., WU-22-10, +$40,600.00 Schaus Mechanical, CO #1 for Silver Creek Concession Stand Countertops, AGMT-22-08, +$5,431.00 Green Bay Pipe & TV, LLC, CO #1-Final for 2022 Televising I Miscellaneous Sewers, WU-22-5, +$1,680.75 Moved by Vanderkin, seconded by Reckelberg, to approve the change orders. Pay Estimates, Various Engineering/Public Works Projects City Clerk submitted the following City Engineer's estimates for approval and payment: Mike Koenig Construction Co., Rahr West Art Museum Elevator Addition & Remodel (CDBG), WB-21-26, Est. #5, $166,258.07 Green Bay Pipe & TV, 2022 Televising Miscellaneous Sewers I, WU-22-5, Est. #2&Fnl., $9,817.09 Moved by Reckelberg, seconded by Vanderkin, that these payments. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 7- Nickels, Vanderkin, Koski, McDaniel, Reed-Kadow, Reckelberg and Lynch 8. Notice is hereby given that a majority of the Common Council of the City of Manitowoc, or a standing committee of that body, may be present at this meeting to gather information about the subject matter over which they have decision making responsibility.
