1. Call to Order
Present: 5- Brey, Reed, Reckelberg, Nycz and Dorow
Absent: 3- Nickels, Vanderkin and Alfred
2. Bids for Masonry Wall Repair & Overhead Door Expansion at Transit Mechanic
Building - REBID, Project #WB-23-14R
City Clerk reported having received one (1) e-bid. Same was opened and
accepted online through Quest, and is as follows:
Jos. Schmitt & Sons Construction, Bid Bond, $106,233.00
Moved by Nycz, seconded by Dorow, to refer the bid to the Director of Public
Infrastructure for tabulation and recommendation. The motion carried by the
following vote:
Aye: 5- Brey, Reed, Reckelberg, Nycz and Dorow
3. Bids for 2023 Asphalt Paving, Project #WS-23-4
City Clerk reported having received one (1) e-bid. Same was opened and
accepted online through Quest, and is as follows:
Vinton Construction Company, Bid Bond, $1,798,332.63
A motion was made by Nycz, seconded by Reckelberg, to refer the bid to the
Director of Public Infrastructure for tabulation and recommendation. The motion
carried by the following vote:
Aye: 5- Brey, Reed, Reckelberg, Nycz and Dorow
4. Change Orders
None
5. Pay Estimates, Various Engineering/Public Works Projects
City Clerk submitted the following City Engineer's estimates for approval
and payment:
Strand Associates, South 19th Pumping Station, Project #3516.033,
Est. #2, $743.29

Moved by Nycz, seconded by Reed,to approve the payments. The motion carried
by the following vote:

Manitowoc, or a standing committee of that body, may be present at this meeting to
gather information about the subject matter over which they have decision making
responsibility.
