Call to Order Present: 7- Nickels, Brey, Koski, Reed, Reckelberg, Czekala and Luebke Absent: 1- Nycz 2. Bids for 2023 Asphalt Paving Program III, Project #WS-23-12 City Clerk reported having received one (1) e-bid. Same was opened and accepted online through Quest, and is as follows: Vinton Construction Company, Bid Bond, $466,608.56 A motion was made by Brey, seconded by Reckelberg, to refer the bid to the Director of Public Infrastructure for tabulation and recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 7- Nickels, Brey, Koski, Reed, Reckelberg, Czekala and Luebke 3. Bids for Park Restroom Renovations, Project #WB-23-23 City Clerk reported having received one (1) e-bid. Same was opened and accepted through online Quest and is as follows: Philippi Quality Construction, Inc., Bid Bond, $147,940.00 A motion was made by Reckelberg, seconded by Koski, to refer the bid to the Director of Public Infrastructure for tabulation and recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 7- Nickels, Brey, Koski, Reed, Reckelberg, Czekala and Luebke 4. Bids for Playground Equipment & Installation at Rheaume & Riverview Parks, Project #WB-23-24 City Clerk reported having received one (1) e-bid. Same was opened and accepted online through Quest, and is as follows: Vinton Construction Company, Bid Bond, $186,349.00 A motion was made Brey, seconded by Czekala, to refer the bids to the Director of Public Infrastructure for tabulation and recommendation. Bids for Senior Center Generator - REBID, Project #WO-23-20R City Clerk reported having received two (2) e-bids. Same were opened and accepted online through Quest, and are as follows: J. Miller Electric, Inc., Bid Bond, $145,988.00 Ted Selerski Electric, Inc., Bid Bond, $220,000.00 A motion was made by Reed, seconded by Reckelberg, to refer the bids to the Director of Public Infrastructure for tabulation and recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 7- Nickels, Brey, Koski, Reed, Reckelberg, Czekala and Luebke 6. Change Orders City Clerk submitted the following three (3) change orders for approval: Green Bay Pipe & TV LLC, CO #2-Final for 2023 Televising Misc. Sewers 1, WU-23-5, ($1,852.74) Bodart Electric Service, Inc, CO #1-Final for 2022 Traffic Signals, 3700-30-39, ($1,403.22) Gintner Concrete, CO 1 for Concrete Work at Rheaume Park, 22-14, +$1,490.00 A motion was made by Czekala, seconded by Reckelberg, that the change orders be approved. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 7- Nickels, Brey, Koski, Reed, Reckelberg, Czekala and Luebke 7. Pay Estimates, Various Engineering/Public Works Projects City Clerk submitted the following City Engineer's estimates for approval and payment: Green Bay Pipe & TV, 2023 Televising Miscellaneous Sewers I, WU-23-5, Est. 1 & Final, $43,097.89 Vinton Construction Company, Manitowoc River Point Junk Yard Clean Up, WO-23-13, Est. 2, $18,282.80 Gintner Concrete & Masonry LLC, Concrete Work at Rheaume Park, 22-14, Est. 2 & Final, $17,420.00 Crafts Inc, Manitowoc City Hall Re-Roof Project, WB-22-21, Est. 2, City of Manitowoc Page 2 Board of Public Works Meeting Minutes June 14, 2023 $67,166.25 Mulch Express of Wisconsin, 2023 Furnish & Install Wood Chips, Est. 1, $8,586.00 Visu Sewer, 2023 Re-Lining Sewer Project, WU-23-7, Est. 2, $14,956.25 Bodart Electric Service Inc., 2022 Traffic Signals, Est. 2 & Final, $44,238.15 A motion was made by Czekala, seconded by Brey, to approve the payments. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 7- Nickels, Brey, Koski, Reed, Reckelberg, Czekala and Luebke 8. Contractor's Payroll Affidavits None 9.
