1. Call to Order
Present: 7- Brey, Koski, Reed, Alfred, Reckelberg, Nycz and Czekala
Absent: 1- Nickels
2. Bids for Safety Building Window Replacement, Project #WB-23-28
City Clerk reported having received one (1) e-bid. Same was opened and
accepted online through Quest, and is as follows:
Commonwealth Construction, Bid Bond, $108,509.00
A motion was made by Nycz, seconded by Czekala, to refer the bid to the
Director of Public Infrastructure for tabulation and recommendation. The motion
carried by the following vote:
Aye: 7- Brey, Koski, Reed, Alfred, Reckelberg, Nycz and Czekala
3. Change Orders
City Clerk submitted the following two (2) change orders for approval:
Kruczek Construction, CO #12 for 2022 Watermain Construction South
of Viebahn Street, WU-22-10,$29,751.50
Essential Sewer & Water, CO #1 & Final for 2023 Storm Sewers &
Ditching Project, WU-23-19, $883.40
A motion was made by Czekala, seconded by Nycz, that the change orders be
approved. The motion carried by the following vote:
Aye: 7- Brey, Koski, Reed, Alfred, Reckelberg, Nycz and Czekala
4. Pay Estimates, Various Engineering/Public Works Projects
City Clerk submitted the following City Engineer's estimates for approval
and payment:
Jos Schmitt Construction Co Inc., Transit Mechanic Building Wall
Repair & Overhead Door Expansion, WB-23-14R, Est. 3 & Final,
$14,980.00

A motion was made by Reckelberg, seconded by Nycz, to approve the payments.
The motion carried by the following vote:

6. Adjournment
A motion was made by Reed, seconded by Nycz, that this meeting be adjourned
at 4:04 p.m. The motion carried by the following vote:

Notice is hereby given that a majority of the Common Council of the City of
Manitowoc, or a standing committee of that body, may be present at this meeting to
gather information about the subject matter over which they have decision making
responsibility.
