Call to Order Present: 7- Nickels, Koski, Reed, Alfred, Reckelberg, Nycz and Czekala Absent: 1- Brey 2. Bids for Rahr West Art Museum Roof Replacement, Project #WB-24-16 City Clerk reported having received four (4) e-bids. Same were opened and accepted online through Quest, and are as follows: JT RAMS, LLC, Bid Bond, $205,138.00 H.I.S. Comp. LLC, Bid Bond, $210,732.00 Crafts Inc., Bid Bond, $278,760.00 Nasi Roofing, Bid Bond, $331,700.00 A motion was made by Nycz, seconded by Reckelberg, to refer the bids to the Director of Public Infrastructure for tabulation and recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 7- Nickels, Koski, Reed, Alfred, Reckelberg, Nycz and Czekala 3. Bids for Remove & Replace Existing Sidewalks - Complaints, Project #WS-24-3 City Clerk reported having received four (4) e-bids. Same were opened and accepted online through Quest, and are as follows: Seiler Bros. Construction Inc., Bid Bond, $163,856.00 Potrykus Construction, Bid Bond, $165,503.00 McDonald Services LLC, Bid Bond, $278,203.24 Utility Traffic & Restoration LLC, Bid Bond, $318,638.00 A motion was made by Nycz, seconded by Czekala, to refer the bid to the Director of Public Infrastructure for tabulation and recommendation. Bids for 2024 Concrete Paving I Program, Project #WS-23-1 City Clerk reported having received one (1) e-bid. Same was opened and accepted online through Quest, and is as follows: Vinton Construction Company, Bid Bond, $1,685,995.91 A motion was made by Nycz, seconded by Czekala, to refer the bid to the Director of Public Infrastructure for tabulation and recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 7- Nickels, Koski, Reed, Alfred, Reckelberg, Nycz and Czekala 5. AGMT-24-02 with Complex Security Solutions, Inc. for security cameras at various parks throughout the city for a contract price of $8,330.13 A motion was made by Reed, seconded by Nycz, that this agreement be entered into. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 7- Nickels, Koski, Reed, Alfred, Reckelberg, Nycz and Czekala 6. Quotes for 2024 Ready Mix Concrete, #QM-24-1 City Clerk reported having received three (3) quotes. Same were opened and accepted. Quotes where received from: Carew Concrete, $95,667.00 R & J Fricke, $115,850.00 Schmitz, $122,380.00 A motion was made by Reckelberg, seconded by Nycz, to refer the quotes to the Director of Public Infrastructure for tabulation and recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 7- Nickels, Koski, Reed, Alfred, Reckelberg, Nycz and Czekala 7. Change Orders None 8. Pay Estimates, Various Engineering/Public Works Projects City Clerk submitted the following City Engineer's estimates for approval and payment: AECOM, 2020-2021 Former Town of Newton Gravel Pit, Est. 16, $55,209.37 City of Manitowoc Page 2 Board of Public Works Meeting Minutes March 6, 2024 RA Smith, Newton Gravel Pit Water Main Extension Phases 2-3, Est. 6, $42,277.60 A motion was made by Nycz, seconded by Czekala, to approve the payments. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 7- Nickels, Koski, Reed, Alfred, Reckelberg, Nycz and Czekala 9. Contractor's Payroll Affidavits None 10.
