Wednesday, March 20, 2024 4:00 PM Common Council Chambers
1. Call to Order
Present: 7- Nickels, Koski, Reed, Alfred, Reckelberg, Nycz and Czekala
Absent: 1- Brey
2. AGMT-24-03 with Mulch Express of Wisconsin for furnishing and installing wood
chips for playground cover for City Parks, Flowerbeds and Islands for a contract
price of $14,175.00
A motion was made by Nycz, seconded by Reckelberg, that this agreement be
entered into. The motion carried by the following vote:
Aye: 7- Nickels, Koski, Reed, Alfred, Reckelberg, Nycz and Czekala
3. AGMT-24-04 with Automated Logic for City Hall Module Upgrades for a contract
price of $19,587.00
A motion was made by Nycz, seconded by Czekala, that this agreement be
entered into. The motion carried by the following vote:
Aye: 7- Nickels, Koski, Reed, Alfred, Reckelberg, Nycz and Czekala
4. Change Orders
City Clerk submitted the following one (1) change order for approval:
Complex Security Solutions, CO #2 for Manitowoc Parks Security
Cameras, WO-23-21 (213 days)
A motion was made by Nycz, seconded by Czekala, that the change order be
approved. The motion carried by the following vote:
Aye: 7- Nickels, Koski, Reed, Alfred, Reckelberg, Nycz and Czekala
5. Pay Estimates, Various Engineering/Public Works Projects
City Clerk submitted the following City Engineer's estimates for approval
and payment:
Lee Recreation LLC, Playground Equipment for Rheaume, Riverview &
Lincoln Parks, Est. 1 & Final, $77,606.90
Vinton Construction, River Point Fill 2, WO-23-27, Est. 3, $7,917.00

A motion was made by Nycz, seconded by Czekala, to approve the payments.
The motion carried by the following vote:

6. Contractor's Payroll Affidavits
None
7. Adjournment
A motion was made by Alfred, seconded by Czekala, that this meeting be
adjourned at 4:03 p.m. The motion carried by the following vote:

given to the public, to the Herald-Times-Reporter, the official newspaper of
Manitowoc, and to those news media who have filed a written request for this notice
that a meeting of the above-referenced will be held at the date, time and location
listed above.
Notice is hereby given that a majority of the Common Council of the City of
Manitowoc, or a standing committee of that body, may be present at this meeting to
gather information about the subject matter over which they have decision making
responsibility.
This meeting is being conducted both in Council Chambers and via Zoom. Members
