Call to Order Present: 8- Nickels, Koski, Reed, Alfred, Nycz, Norell, Beeman and Reckelberg 2. Noxious Weed Notice Appeal 24-1522 Property owner appeal of notice to remove noxious weeds for property at 1810 S. 10th St. Moved by Nickels, seconded by Reckelberg, to approve the request to remove the notice and the property owner waives the right to appeal the notice again. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 8- Nickels, Koski, Reed, Alfred, Nycz, Norell, Beeman and Reckelberg 3. Change Orders None 4. Pay Estimates, Various Engineering/Public Works Projects City Clerk submitted the following City Engineer's estimates for approval and payment: Vinton Construction Company, 2023 Asphaltic Concrete Paving III, WS-23-12, Est. 2, $42,410.47 AECOM, 2020-2021 Former Town of Newton Gravel Pit, Project #60135471, Est. 17, $22,568.61 RA Smith, Newton Gravel Pit Water Main Extension Phases 2-3, Est. 9, $44,885.92 A motion was made by Nycz, seconded by Reckelberg, to approve the payments. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 8- Nickels, Koski, Reed, Alfred, Nycz, Norell, Beeman and Reckelberg 5. Notice is hereby given that a majority of the Common Council of the City of Manitowoc, or a standing committee of that body, may be present at this meeting to gather information about the subject matter over which they have decision making responsibility. This meeting is being conducted both in Council Chambers at City Hall and via Zoom to maximize opportunities for residents to attend.
