Call to Order Present: 8- Nickels, Koski, Reed, Alfred, Nycz, Norell, Beeman and Reckelberg 2. Bids for 2024 Televising Miscellaneous Sewers II, Project #WU-24-17 City Clerk reported having received three (3) e-bids. Same were opened and accepted online through Quest, and are as follows: Aqualis, Bid Bond, $42,777.85 Green Bay Pipe & TV, LLC, Bid Bond, $78,017.25 National Power Rodding Corp, Bid Bond, $415,516.00 A motion was made by Nycz, seconded by Reckelberg, to refer the bids to the Department of Public Infrastructure for tabulation and recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 8- Nickels, Koski, Reed, Alfred, Nycz, Norell, Beeman and Reckelberg 3. Bids for 2024 Sewer Re-Lining Project, Project #WU-24-7 City Clerk reported having received two (2) e-bids. Same were opened and accepted online through Quest, and are as follows: Visu-Sewer, Bid Bond, $363,172.75 Insituform Technologies, Bid Bond, $411,179.25 A motion was made by Nycz, seconded by Reckelberg, to refer the bids to the Department of Public Infrastructure for tabulation and recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 8- Nickels, Koski, Reed, Alfred, Nycz, Norell, Beeman and Reckelberg 4. Bids for Buffalo & Chicago Streetscape Planting, Project #WO-24-25 City Clerk reported having received two (2) e-bids. Same were opened and accepted online through Quest, and are as follows: Property Solutions Contracting LLC, Bid Bond, $56,583.00 City of Manitowoc Page 1 Board of Public Works Meeting Minutes September 4, 2024 Highway Landscapers, Inc., Bid Bond, $134,280.00 A motion was made by Nycz, seconded by Reckelberg, to refer the bids to the Department of Public Infrastructure for tabulation and recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 8- Nickels, Koski, Reed, Alfred, Nycz, Norell, Beeman and Reckelberg 5. Bids for Rahr West Mansion Exterior Painting - Rebid #2, Project #WB-24-19R2 City Clerk reported having received one (1) e-bid. Same was opened and accepted online through Quest, and is as follows: S&S Painting and Restoration LLC, Bid Bond, $38,900.00 A motion was made by Nycz, seconded by Reckelberg, to refer the bid to the Department of Public Infrastructure for tabulation and recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 8- Nickels, Koski, Reed, Alfred, Nycz, Norell, Beeman and Reckelberg 6. Change Orders City Clerk submitted the following two (2) change orders for approval: Vinton Construction Co., CO#1 for 2024 River Point Phase 3, WS-24-2, $22,136.00 Brickline Inc., CO#1 & Final for 2024 Epoxy Painting-Pavement Marking Program, WS-24-9, $3,624.19 A motion was made by Nycz, seconded by Reckelberg, that these change orders be approved. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 8- Nickels, Koski, Reed, Alfred, Nycz, Norell, Beeman and Reckelberg 7. Pay Estimates, Various Engineering/Public Works Projects City Clerk submitted the following City Engineer's estimates for approval and payment: Seiler Bros Construction, Inc., 2024 Remove & Replace Sidewalks, WS-24-3, Est. 3, $34,193.01 Vinton Construction, Concrete Slab Replacement Program, WS-24-14, Est. 2, $58,349.08 Vinton Construction, 2024 Concrete Paving I, WS-24-1, Est. 3, $421,265.76 Vinton Construction, 2024 River Point Development Phase III, City of Manitowoc Page 2 Board of Public Works Meeting Minutes September 4, 2024 WS-24-2, Est. 2, $524,788.83 RA Smith, Newton Gravel Pit Water Main Extension Phases 2-3, Est. 12, $14,466.00 Strand Associates, South 19th Pumping Station, Project #3516.033, Est. 16, $5,724.69 Brickline Inc., 2024 Epoxy Pavement Marking Program, WS-24-9, Est. 1&Final, $53,620.54 Commonwealth Construction, Safety Building Window Replacement, WB-23-28, Est. 2 & Final, $19,943.35 A motion was made by Nycz, seconded by Reckelberg, to approve the payments. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 8- Nickels, Koski, Reed, Alfred, Nycz, Norell, Beeman and Reckelberg 8. Contractor's Payroll Affidavits None 9.
