Wednesday, September 18, 2024 4:00 PM Common Council Chambers
1. Call to Order
Present: 7- Nickels, Koski, Alfred, Nycz, Beeman, Reckelberg and Swokowski
Absent: 1- Norell
2. Change Orders
City Clerk submitted the following two (2) change orders for approval:
Vinton Construction Co., CO#3 for 2024 Concrete Slab Replacement
Program, WS-24-14, 79 days
Vinton Construction Co., CO#1 for 2024 Asphalt Paving II Alleys,
WS-24-4, $887.50
A motion was made by Nycz, seconded by Beeman, that these change orders be
approved. The motion carried by the following vote:
Aye: 7- Nickels, Koski, Alfred, Nycz, Beeman, Reckelberg and Swokowski
3. Pay Estimates, Various Engineering/Public Works Projects
City Clerk submitted the following City Engineer's estimates for approval
and payment:
Seiler Bros Construction, 2024 Remove & Replace Sidewalks,
WS-24-3, Est. 4, $11,273.33
S&S Painting and Restoration LLC, Rahr West Mansion Exterior
Painting, WO-24-19R2, Est. 1, $19,450.00
Vinton Construction Company, Asphalt Paving II Alleys, WS-24-4, Est.
1, $604,648.86
J Miller Electric Inc., Senior Center Generator, WO-23-20R, Est. 2,
$19,254.60
A motion was made by Nycz, seconded by Beeman, to approve the payments.
The motion carried by the following vote:

A motion was made by Nycz, seconded by Beeman, that this meeting be
adjourned at 4:03 p.m. The motion carried by the following vote:

Pursuant to Section 19.84(2) and (3) of the Wisconsin Statutes, notice is hereby
given to the public, to the Herald-Times-Reporter, the official newspaper of
Manitowoc, and to those news media who have filed a written request for this notice
that a meeting of the above-referenced will be held at the date, time and location
listed above.
Notice is hereby given that a majority of the Common Council of the City of
Manitowoc, or a standing committee of that body, may be present at this meeting to
gather information about the subject matter over which they have decision making
responsibility.
This meeting is being conducted both in Council Chambers at City Hall and via Zoom
to maximize opportunities for residents to attend. Members of the public may call to

The above governmental body will meet to discuss and possibly take action on the
