Roll Call Present: 11 - Howe, McMeans, Able, Hennessey, Sladky, Brey, Sitkiewitz, Soeldner, Schema, Nickels and Shaw Also present from MPU were: General Manager Nilaksh Kothari, Commissioner David Diedrich, Commissioner Dan Hornung, Commissioner Mark Seidl, and Attorney Andrew Steimle. Also present were: City Attorney Kathleen McDaniel and Deputy Clerk Deborah Neuser. 3. CLOSED SESSION Council President McMeans then announced that notice is hereby given that the above governmental body may adjourn into a closed session during the meeting as authorized by Section 19.85(1)(e) of the Wisconsin Statutes, which authorizes the governmental body to convene in closed session for the purpose of deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session. The specific subject matter that may be considered in closed session is: Discussion on guaranty for property MPU is considering purchasing. It was moved by Alderperson Brey, seconded by Alderperson Hennessey, and unanimously carried on roll call to convene in closed session. Ayes, 11. Nays, none. 14-2595 Discussion on guaranty for property MPU is considering purchasing. This Report was discussed Committee deliberated in closed session. (Closed Session portion of the minutes has been redacted). Moved by Mayor Nickels, seconded by Alderperson Hennessey, and unanimously carried on roll call to reconvene in open session. Ayes, 11. Nays, none. 4. OPEN SESSION 5.
