1. Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 6:04 p.m.
2. Roll Call
Present: 7- McMeans, Able, Hennessey, Sladky, Sitkiewitz, Soeldner and Nickels
Absent: 3- Howe, Brey and Schema
Also Present: Finance Director Steve Corbeille, Community Development Director Nicolas
Sparacio, City Attorney Kathleen McDaniel, City Planner Paul Braun and Deputy Clerk Deborah
Neuser.
3. CLOSED SESSION
Council President McMeans then announced that notice is hereby given that the above
governmental body may adjourn into a closed session during the meeting as authorized by Section
19.85(1)(e) of the Wisconsin Statutes, which authorizes the governmental body to convene in
closed session for the purpose of deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the
investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business, whenever competitive or
bargaining reasons require a closed session.
The specific subject matter that may be considered in closed session is:
Discussion of 101 Maritime Drive property future lease and options for the City of Manitowoc. It
was moved by Alderperson Sitkiewitz, seconded by Alderperson Hennessey, and carried on roll call
to convene in closed session. Ayes, 7. Nays, 1. (Alderperson Able voting nay).
14-2633 Discussion on 101 Maritime Dr. property future lease and options for the
City of Manitowoc.
This Action Item was discussed
Committee deliberated in closed session. (Closed Session portion of the minutes has been
redacted).
Moved by Alderperson Brey, seconded by Alderperson Sladky and unanimously carried on roll call
to reconvene in open session. Ayes, 8. Nays, none.
