Call to Order 2. Roll Call Present: 10 - McMeans, Brandel, Able, Hennessey, Sladky, Brey, Sitkiewitz, Soeldner, Schema and Nickels Absent: 1- Howe Also present were City Attorney Kathleen McDaniel, Human Resources Director Rochelle Blindauer and Community Development Director Nicolas Sparacio. 3. Public Comment 4. CLOSED SESSIONS: Chairman Sitkiewitz read the Notices to go into closed session. Notice is hereby given that the above governmental body may adjourn into a closed session during the meeting as authorized by Section 19.85(1)(g) of the Wisconsin Statutes, which authorizes the governmental body to convene in closed session for the purpose of conferring with legal counsel for the governmental body who is rendering oral or written advice concerning strategy to be adopted by the body with respect to litigation in which it is or is likely to become involved. The specific subject matter that may be considered in closed session is: 15-552 Update on 1512 Washington Street Notice is hereby given that the above governmental body may adjourn into a closed session during the meeting as authorized by Section 19.85(1)(e) of the Wisconsin Statutes, which authorizes the governmental body to convene in closed session for the purpose of deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session. The specific subject matter that may be considered in closed session is: 15-553 Update on Resolution 15-453 from administrative staff who were directed to find savings relative to Fire Department staffing 15-554 Fire Chief's update on staffing model. The specific subject matter that may be considered in closed session is: 15-555 Update on IAFF Local 368 Contract Negotiations. Moved by Brey, seconded by McMeans, that this meeting convene in closed session. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 10 - McMeans, Brandel, Able, Hennessey, Sladky, Brey, Sitkiewitz, Soeldner, Schema and Nickels Commmittee of the Whole deliberated in closed session. OPEN SESSION Moved by McMeans, seconded by Schema, that this meeting reconvene in open session. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 11 - McMeans, Howe, Brandel, Able, Hennessey, Sladky, Brey, Sitkiewitz, Soeldner, Schema and Nickels 15-556 Resolution to hire outside labor council for fire arbitration. Attachments: 201505151428.pdf Moved by Nickels, seconded by Hennessey, that this Resolution be adopted for arbitration only and a cap set at $14,000.00.
