1. Call to Order
Council President Sitkiewitz called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
2. Roll Call
Present: 8- McMeans, Brandel, Able, Sladky, Brey, Sitkiewitz, Soeldner and Schema
Absent: 3- Howe, Hennessey and Nickels
Staff: 1- McDaniel
4. Discussion and Action Items
15-902 Resolution establishing starting time for public meetings at 5:00 p.m. or later.

Alderperson Soeldner brought forth this resolution to introduce a conversation relative to
holding all public meetings at 5:00 p.m. or later. The City Attorney was asked to provide
a list of committees that the City has authority over. Also discussed was requiring that
all meetings be held at City Hall and recorded through Granicus as well as the possibility
of expanding the recording capabilities to a second room. The Deputy Clerk was asked
to provide a list of how many times a committee met before 5:00 p.m. over the last year.

given to the public, to the Herald-Times-Reporter, the official newspaper of
Manitowoc, and to those news media who have filed a written request for this
notice that a meeting of the above-referenced will be held at the date, time and
location listed above.
Notice is hereby given that a majority of the Common Council of the City of
Manitowoc may be present at this meeting to gather information about the
subject matter over which they have decision making responsibility.
The above governmental body will meet to discuss and possibly take action on
the agenda items set forth below.
