16-0790 Proposed parking sublease by Forefront Dermatology of 50 spaces at 720
Quay Street (Farmers Market Parking Lot) and related request to Briess Malting
under the existing Ground Lease.

Letter-Briess Malting Request for Sub-Lease.pdf
Moved by Nickels, seconded by Howe, that this Lease be approved and referred
to council. The motion carried by the following vote:
Aye: 9- McMeans, Howe, Able, Sladky, Brey, Sitkiewitz, Nickels, Kummer and Czekala
Community Development Director Nic Sparacio addressed the Committee and answered
questions.,
16-0967 Resolution authorizing the support for a harbor assistance program grant for
repairs at the car ferry dock.

Moved by Able, seconded by McMeans, that this Resolution be adopted and
referred to Council. The motion carried by the following vote:

Director of Public Infrastructure Dan Koski and City Planner Paul Braun addressed the committee
and answered questions noting that the repairs to the carferry dock are on a tight timeframe.
5. Adjournment
Moved by Sitkiewitz, seconded by Able, that this meeting be adjourned at 5:54
p.m. The motion carried by the following vote:

given to the public, to the Herald-Times-Reporter, the official newspaper of
Manitowoc, and to those news media who have filed a written request for this
notice that a meeting of the above-referenced will be held at the date, time and
location listed above.
Notice is hereby given that a majority of the Common Council of the City of
Manitowoc may be present at this meeting to gather information about the
subject matter over which they have decision making responsibility.
The above governmental body will meet to discuss and possibly take action on
the agenda items set forth below.
