Call to Order 2. Roll Call Present: 11 - McMeans, Howe, Sitkiewitz, Nickels, Kummer, Czekala, Novak, Lotz, Gabriel, Williams and Brey Also present: City Attorney Kathleen McDaniel, Director of Public Infrastructure Dan Koski, Fire Chief Todd Blaser, Deputy City Clerk Mackenzie Reed-Kadow 3. Public Comment Council President McMeans declared the meeting open for public input. In accordance with policy, the public input portion of the meeting is not made a part of the official record. 4. Discussion and Action Items 18-0852 Resolution Regarding Industrial Park Land Sales Attachments: Resolution Land Rebate Policy Revisions 2018 Moved by Brey, seconded by Sitkiewitz, to amend Section 4 changing the word "three" to "there, and to add in Section 4, "in consultation with the President of the Industrial Development Corporation". The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 11 - McMeans, Howe, Sitkiewitz, Nickels, Kummer, Czekala, Novak, Lotz, Gabriel, Williams and Brey Moved by Kummer, seconded by Gabriel, that this Resolution be amended by changing Section 3 to 2d, and renumbering Section 4 as Section 3. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 11 - McMeans, Howe, Sitkiewitz, Nickels, Kummer, Czekala, Novak, Lotz, Gabriel, Williams and Brey Moved by Brey, seconded by Sitkiewitz, that this Resolution be adopted as amended and referred to Council. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 9- McMeans, Sitkiewitz, Nickels, Kummer, Czekala, Novak, Lotz, Williams and Brey Nay: 1- Gabriel Abstain: 1- Howe 18-0859 Resolution Urging the Manitowoc County Board to Override County Executive Bob Ziegelbauer's Veto of an Advisory Referendum on Closing the Dark Store Loophole Attachments: 18-0859 Moved by Sitkiewitz, seconded by Howe, that this Resolution be adopted and referred to Council. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 10 - McMeans, Howe, Sitkiewitz, Nickels, Kummer, Czekala, Novak, Lotz, Williams and Brey Nay: 1- Gabriel 5. Notice is hereby given that a majority of the Common Council of the City of Manitowoc, or a standing committee of that body, may be present at this meeting to gather information about the subject matter over which they have decision making responsibility.
