Call to Order Meeting was called to order at 5:30pm 2. Roll Call Rollcall Present: 3- McMeans, Brandel and Sitkiewitz Absent: 2- Able and Brey Others present: Comptroller Kim Lynch, City Attorney Kathleen McDaniel, Fire Chief Todd Blaser, DPI Director Dan Koski, Transit/Facilities Manager Jim Muenzenmeyer and Marcus Nesemann. 3. Approval of Minutes Moved by Sitkiewitz, seconded by Brandel, that the minutes be accepted. Public Comment No public comment at this meeting. 5. Discussion and Action Items Consent Agenda Items: Moved by Sitkiewitz, seconded by Brandel, that the Concent items be accepted. No formal action was taken on this item. 15-144 Operations Agreement with The Friends of the Manitowoc Family Aquatics Center for cost sharing operational costs of the Manitowoc Family Aquatics Center Attachments: Agreement with Friends Group.pdf 15-573 Recommend proposed settlement regarding CVS Pharmacy, Inc. vs. City of Manitowoc, Case 14CV247, and CVS Pharmacy Claim for Excessive Assessment. Alderperson McMeans read the Notice to go into Closed Session. Moved by Brandel, seconded by Sitkiewitz, that the committee convene in closed session. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 3- McMeans, Brandel and Sitkiewitz Reconvene in Open Session, possible action on the following: Moved by Sitkiewitz, seconded by Brandel, that the committee reconvene in open session. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 3- McMeans, Brandel and Sitkiewitz 15-573 Recommend proposed settlement regarding CVS Pharmacy, Inc. vs. City of Manitowoc, Case 14CV247, and CVS Pharmacy Claim for Excessive Assessment. Moved by Sitkiewitz, seconded by Brandel, that this Claim be recommended for approval with the proposed settlement. Future planning sessions Drafting new agreement between city and friends group Notice is hereby given that the above governmental body may adjourn into a closed session during the meeting as authorized by Section 19.85(1)(g) of the Wisconsin Statutes, which authorizes the governmental body to convene in closed session for the purpose of conferring with legal counsel for the governmental body who is rendering oral or written advice concerning strategy to be adopted by the body with respect to litigation in which it is or is likely to become involved.
