Mayor Nickels spoke to the committee about his plan for the use of Room Tax funds in 2016. The committee would like a report from the Rahr West museum regarding their marketing efforts in 2015. Moved by McMeans, seconded by Able, to have $80,000 remain in the Room Tax budget for the Downtown Study, however; no money is to be spent until the Committee of the Whole has approved the plan. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 4- McMeans, Brandel, Able and Brey 6. Adjournment Next Finance Committee meeting will be November 3, 2015.
