1. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 6:25 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL
Mayor Justin Nickels, Kathleen McDaniel, Rochelle Blindauer, Cherilyn Stewart, Todd
Blaser, Dan Koski, Karen Dorow, Jane Rhode
Present: 5- Able, Hennessey, Schema, Sitkiewitz and McMeans
3. DISCUSSION AND ACTION ITEMS
14-1230 Department of Public Works - Operations Foremen
14-1900 Resolution to create and fill four full-time positions in the Department of Public
Infrastructure: Streets Team Leader, Parks Team Leader, Cemetery Team
Leader and Fleet Team Leader.
Committee briefly discussed these working foremen positions, and that they have been
approved by the Public Infrastructure Committee.
Moved by Able, seconded by Schema, that this Resolution be approved. The
motion carried by the following vote:
Aye: 5- Able, Hennessey, Schema, Sitkiewitz and McMeans
14-1751 Restructure for the Mayor, City Attorney and Human Resource offices.
14-1866 Resolution to reorganize Attorney, Human Resources and Mayor's
departments and hire a Human Resources Generalist.
Rochelle Blindauer, City Attorney McDaniel and Mayor Nickels addressed the
Committee, explained the rationale behind the restructuring request, including the need
for efficiencies, shared services and higher level support staff within each separate
department, and briefly discussed transitioning the changes.
Moved by Able, seconded by McMeans, that this Resolution be approved. The
motion carried by the following vote:
Aye: 5- Able, Hennessey, Schema, Sitkiewitz and McMeans
4. ADJOURNMENT
Moved by McMeans, seconded by Sitkiewitz, Committee adjourned at 6:37 p.m.
