Approval of Minutes and Monthly Reports 18-1155 October 2018 Police and Fire Commission Minutes Attachments: 10-09-18 PFC Minutes Moved by Zigmunt, seconded by Hennessey, that these Minutes be accepted and placed on file. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 5- Wellner, Sauer, Zigmunt, Hennessey and Bare 18-1143 October 2018 Police Department Monthly Report Attachments: October 2018 Police Department Monthly Report Moved by Hennessey, seconded by Zigmunt, that this Report be accepted and placed on file. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 5- Wellner, Sauer, Zigmunt, Hennessey and Bare 5. New Business 18-1153 Approval of candidate list for the future vacant Lieutenant position. Moved by Bare, seconded by Sauer, that this Request be approved. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 5- Wellner, Sauer, Zigmunt, Hennessey and Bare Notice is hereby given that the above governmental body may adjourn into a closed session during the meeting as authorized by Section 19.85(1)(c) of the Wisconsin Statutes, which authorizes the governmental body to convene in closed session for the purpose of considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. The specific subject matter that may be considered in closed session is: 18-1154 Update from Police Chief on employee performance. Commissioner Bare read the notice to go into closed session. Moved by Hennessey, Seconded by Zigmunt, to convene in closed session. The motion carried on roll call vote by the following vote: Aye: 5 - Bare, Wellner, Sauer, Hennessey, and Zigmunt. Nay: none. 6. Convene in Closed Session Police and Fire Commission deliberated in closed session. (redacted - - Closed Session) Moved by Sauer, Seconded by Wellner, to reconvene in Open Session. Moved by Sauer, seconded by Wellner, that this Communication be approved. Notice is hereby given that a majority of the Common Council of the City of Manitowoc, or a standing committee of that body, may be present at this meeting to gather information about the subject matter over which they have decision making responsibility.
