Roll Call Present: 4- Able, Sitkiewitz, Sladky and Soeldner Absent: 1- Howe 3. Approval of Minutes 5 15-1094 Public Safety Minutes September 10th, 2015 Moved by Sitkiewitz, seconded by Sladky, that this Minutes be approved. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 4- Able, Sitkiewitz, Sladky and Soeldner 4. Public Comment 7. Discussion and Action Items 8 15-86 Communication from Valerie Powers-Klein requesting the return of the 2 hour parking in front of Shooter Malone's at 901 Buffalo Street. Moved by Soeldner, seconded by Able, that this Communication be . The motion failed by the following vote: Aye: 2- Able and Sladky Nay: 2- Sitkiewitz and Soeldner 9 15-865 Communication from Paul B Hansen regarding Semi Truck traffic on Huron Street/Michigan Avenue, recommending place on file. Moved by Sitkiewitz, seconded by Sladky, that this Communication be placed on file. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 4- Able, Sitkiewitz, Sladky and Soeldner 10 15-1013 Resolution authorizing Mayor and Clerk to enter into Ambulance Service Agreements for events within the City limits if the event will be budget neutral due to being staffed by on-duty personnel. Moved by Sitkiewitz, seconded by Sladky, that this Resolution be approved and referred to council. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 4- Able, Sitkiewitz, Sladky and Soeldner City of Manitowoc Page 1 Public Safety Committee Meeting Minutes November 4, 2015 15-1087 Discussion relative to possible drafting of Sexual Offender Ordinance Moved by Sitkiewitz, seconded by Able, that this Action Item be approved and referred to City Attorney to draft the ordinance. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 4- Able, Sitkiewitz, Sladky and Soeldner 15 15-1089 Discussion to schedule regular PS meeetings Chairperson Able suggested meeting on the Monday following Council meeting at 6:00p.m. This Action Item was discussed. 5. Monthly Reports 18 15-1095 September, 2015 Police Monthly Report Moved by Sitkiewitz, seconded by Sladky, that this Report be accepted. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 4- Able, Sitkiewitz, Sladky and Soeldner 19 15-1096 September 2015, MFRD Report Moved by Sitkiewitz, seconded by Sladky, that this Report be accepted. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 4- Able, Sitkiewitz, Sladky and Soeldner 6. MFD Presentation 21 15-1063 MFRD Business Plan, recommending approval and place on file. Moved by Sitkiewitz, seconded by Sladky, that this Report be accepted. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 4- Able, Sitkiewitz, Sladky and Soeldner 22 15-1064 2015 MFD Key Performance Moved by Sitkiewitz, seconded by Sladky, that this Report be accepted. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 4- Able, Sitkiewitz, Sladky and Soeldner 23 15-1065 Manitowoc Fire Department Reorg.15, recommending place on file. Moved by Sitkiewitz, seconded by Sladky, that this Report be accepted.
