Present: 4- Able, Sitkiewitz, Sladky and Howe
Absent: 1- Soeldner
Addition was made to the agenda by Alderman Able. Re: Parking on Broadway Street North of
RiverBluff Dr. Would like parking on both sides of street. This item will be addressed again at the
Dec. 28th meeting.
Moved by Able, seconded by Sitkiewitz. The motion carried by the following
vote:

3. Approval of Minutes
15-1214 November 4th Minutes
Moved by Sladky, seconded by Sitkiewitz, that these minutes be accepted and
placed on file. The motion carried by the following vote:

Moved by Sladky, seconded by Sitkiewitz, that these minutes be accepted and

Moved by Sitkiewitz, seconded by Howe, that this Report be accepted and placed

6. Discussion and Action Items
15-1040 Request from Matt Schliesman regarding no truck parking and handicap parking
in front of the Capital Civic Centre
Moved by Sitkiewitz, seconded by Sladky, to approve no truck parking in front of
the Capital Civic Centre. After some discussion Alderman Sitkiewitz withdrew his
motion and this request will be discussed at the December 28th meeting. No vote
was taken.
15-1193 Request from Brian Kazda to remove the No Parking in front of 900 So. 16th St.
Recommendation was made to change ordinance to allow parking on the West side of
South 16th Street between Franklin Street and Washington Street.
Moved by Sladky, seconded by Sitkiewitz, that this Request be accepted and
placed on file. The motion carried by the following vote:
Aye: 4- Able, Sitkiewitz, Sladky and Howe
15-1216 Request from Hubbartt Electric to put a stop sign on either the corner of South
15th St. or Columbus St.
Recommendation was made to change the ordinance to add a stop sign at Columbus
Street and South 15th Street
Moved by Sladky, seconded by Howe, that this Request be accepted and placed
on file. The motion carried by the following vote:

15-1245 Discussion from Chief Blaser-Town of Manitowoc EMS Agreement, 2016
Moved by Sitkiewitz, seconded by Howe, that this Communication be approved
and referred to council. The motion carried by the following vote:
Aye: 4- Able, Sitkiewitz, Sladky and Howe
15-1246 Discussion from Chief Blaser-Town of Centerville EMS Agreement, 2016
Moved by Sitkiewitz, seconded by Howe, that this Communication be accepted
and referred to Council. The motion carried by the following vote:

15-1243 Sharps (Needle) awareness update from Jim Muenzenmeyer
Discussion was had on this item and all agreed the main goal was to work on getting
safer needle disposals. This item will be revisited within the next couple of months after
Jim Muenzenmeyer gets more information on the Sharps containers and a decision is
made where these containers will be placed.
This Communication was discussed
7. Adjournment
A motion was made by Vice Chair Eric Sitkiewitz, seconded by Alderperson
Jason Sladky, that this meeting be adjourned at 7:00PM. The motion carried by
the following vote:

given to the public, to the Herald-Times-Reporter, the official newspaper of
Manitowoc, and to those news media who have filed a written request for this
notice that a meeting of the above-referenced will be held at the date, time and
location listed above.
Notice is hereby given that a majority of the Common Council of the City of
Manitowoc may be present at this meeting to gather information about the
subject matter over which they have decision making responsibility.
The above governmental body will meet to discuss and possibly take action on
the agenda items set forth below.
