recommendations of the various committees The motion carried by the following

20-0687 Sidewalk crossing improvement request at Huron Street and Maritime Drive,
recommending stripping and signage changes on Huron St.
Recommending to re strip the crosswalk area on Maritime Drive with 12
inch wide pavement markings and change the current pedestrian crossing
signs with school crossing signs.
Moved by Czekala, seconded by Novak, that this Request be approved and
referred to council. The motion carried by the following vote:
Aye: 4- Czekala, Novak, Vanderkin and McMeans
20-0688 Sidewalk crossing on S. 29th Street and Mero Street, recommending approval
of the request.
Recommending the installation of crosswalks and signage at the
intersection of South 29th Street and Mero Street. To include the
installation of a new handicap ramp on the east side of South 29th Street.
Moved by Novak, seconded by Czekala, that this Request be approved and
referred to council. The motion carried by the following vote:
Aye: 4- Czekala, Novak, Vanderkin and McMeans
20-0689 Request for traffic controls at the intersection of New York Avenue and N. 5th
Street.
Recommends stopping traffic on North 5th Street prior to entering New
York Avenue due to the various sight distance issues at this intersection.
Moved by Czekala, seconded by Novak, that this Request be approved and
referred to council. The motion carried by the following vote:
Aye: 4- Czekala, Novak, Vanderkin and McMeans
20-0690 Resolution adopting the Manitowoc County multi-hazard mitigation plan
2020-2025.
Moved by Novak, seconded by Czekala, that this Resolution be approved and
referred to council. The motion carried by the following vote:
Aye: 4- Czekala, Novak, Vanderkin and McMeans
20-0691 Ordinance to create section 14.220 of the MMC regulating Lewd and Lascivious
Behavior and Display.
Moved by Novak, seconded by Czekala, that this Ordinance be approved and
referred to council. The motion carried by the following vote:

20-0692 Ordinance to create section 14.090 of the MMC regulating Harassment.

20-0694 Ordinance to amend section 10.170 of the MMC regulating through
intersections.

Pursuant to Section 19.84(2) and (3) of the Wisconsin Statutes, notice is hereby
given to the public, to the Herald-Times-Reporter, the official newspaper of
Manitowoc, and to those news media who have filed a written request for this notice
that a meeting of the above-referenced will be held at the date, time and location
listed above.
This meeting will be held in Council Chambers and is also being conducted via
remote conferencing software due to a state of emergency and federal, state, and
