Notice is hereby given that a majority of the Common Council of the City of Manitowoc, or a standing committee of that body, may be present at this meeting to gather information about the subject matter over which they have decision making responsibility. The above governmental body will meet to discuss and possibly take action on the agenda items set forth below. Motion by Sitkiewitz and Second by Pat Reilly to approve $10,000 from the Discover Manitowoc Grant Fund. Alderman Sitkiewitz requested new numbers from the group and to come back at a future meeting to discuss support from the Discover Manitowoc Grant Fund. 19-0942 2020 Budget Requests It was noted that there is now $3,941.00 remaining in the Discover Manitowoc Fund (after CASA allocation). The committee wants to focus on downtown master plan (focused on tourism). Wayfinding signage throughout the city. Marina improvements. Mariners Trail improvements. Marketing dollars for the city promotional video. It was noted that room tax dollars are up from the estimates for 2019, and likely will be higher in 2020 and 2021. Ajournment Moved by Sitkiewitz, seconded by Brey, that this meeting be adjourned at 5:50 p.m. The motion carried. Ayes, 5.
