CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order via Zoom by President Bobby Quinten at 6:00 p.m. Board Members Present: Bobby Quinten, Cindy Kuster, Cindy Gray, Debra Collins, Maggie Martin, Suzonne Evans, Richard Ajenikoko, Emily Bauer, and ex officio Friends President Kathy Allen Library Staff Present: Director of Library Services Yolanda Botello, Assistant Director of Library Services Faria Matin, Youth Services Librarian Julie Crisafulli, and Library Administrative Assistant II Blacey Bailey. Citizen Present: None Board Members Absent: Althea Chaderton 2. CITIZEN COMMENTS There were no citizen comments. 3. OLD BUSINESS The discussion and revision of the latest draft of the strategic plan continued from where we concluded the conversation at the 11-12-2020 meeting (p.6) to the end of the draft (p.19). Board members suggested various changes, additions, etc. which were noted by the library staff. 4. BOARD MEMBER COMMENTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS CITY OF MANSFIELD Page 1 Mansfield Public Library Advisory Meeting Minutes November 18, 2020 Board Most comments related to the library budget. Yolanda stated that we don’t want to appear ungrateful for the expansion, but we will need ongoing financial support. Cindy Kuster commented that we need to keep growing. Bobby Quinten commented that the library budget is ever important as we move into the future. We don’t want the library to become static. There will be no December 2020 meeting. The next board meeting will be January 13, 2021. 5. ADJOURN The meeting was adjourned by President Bobby Quinten at 8:18 PM.
