Maple Grove Arbor Subcommittee Regular Meeting Minutes October 17, 2023 Engineering Conference Room 9 a.m. Call to Order The regular meeting of the Arbor Subcommittee was called to order by Member Sarah Piket at 9:05 a.m. Members Present Marilyn Arnlund, Don Varney, Sarah Piket Members Absent Also Present None Approval of Agenda and Motion Arnlund, second Piket to approve the agenda for Minutes October 17, 2023. Vote all ayes. Motion passed. Approval of Minutes Motion Arnlund, second Piket to approve the minutes for September 26, 2023. Vote all ayes. Motion passed. Old Business Review of Suggested Members reviewed suggested ordinance changes identified Ordinance Changes in September 26 meeting for the benefit of members not present at that meeting. While walking through, they identified additional suggested changes for Sec. 36-831., sections (j) thru (k). Majority of discussion dealt with the performance surety and how to determine if a tree is healthy enough to warrant a return of the surety, and what should happen if it is not. They concurrently updated a document to log the justification and/or reference source for each of the proposed changes. Review Bullet List of Members began walking through miscellaneous information Miscellaneous Update pulled from other cities ordinances to be considered to Suggestions inclusion into the current ordinance. The information primarily deals with parking lot design. New Business None Adjournment Motion Arnlund, second Piket to adjourn the meeting at 1:30 p.m. Vote all ayes.
