Maple Grove Arbor subcommittee regular meeting minutes April 3, 2024 CED Conference Room 9 a.m. Call to order The regular meeting of the Arbor Subcommittee was called to order by member Marilyn Arnlund at 9:02 a.m. Members present Marilyn Arnlund, Don Varney, Sarah Piket Members absent None Also present None Approval of agenda and Motion Piket, second Arnlund to approve the agenda for minutes April 3, 2024. Vote all ayes. Motion passed. Approval of minutes Motion Varney, second Arnlund to approve the minutes for Februarys 20, 2024. Vote all ayes. Motion passed. Old Business None New Business Review updates to standard Members landed on six detail plates for the following detail plates for tree planting scenarios; 1) Tree protection, 2) B&B tree planted in parking lot perimeter, 3) Container tree planted in parking lot perimeter, 4) Container tree planted in parking lot island, 5) B&B tree planted in parking lot island, and 6) Tree planted in structural soil. All detail plates were reviewed and updates made. Additionally, minor updates to recommended ordinance changes were made to align with information in the detail plates. Construct outline of Members did not discuss as they ran out of time in the presentation meeting. Item will be on the agenda for the next meeting.
