(2) ROLL CALL Present: 4- Member Green, Member Ryan, Member Scarpa and Chair Boehner Not Present: 3- Member Barber, Vice-Chair O'Donnell and Member Rasmussen (3) PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Led by Chair Boehner. (4) APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA MOTION by Member Scarpa, seconded by Member Ryan, to approve this agenda. MOTION CARRIED BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: Yes: 4- Member Green, Member Ryan, Member Scarpa and Chair Boehner Not Present: 3- Member Barber, Vice-Chair O'Donnell and Member Rasmussen (5) ID 23-2806 February 15, 2023 Meeting Minutes Member Scarpa made some corrections on the February 15th meeting minutes. Motion by member Scarpa seconded by member Barber, to approve February 15, 2023 Meeting Minutes with corrections. MOTION CARRIED BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: Yes: 4- Member Green, Member Ryan, Member Scarpa and Chair Boehner Not Present: 3- Member Barber, Vice-Chair O'Donnell and Member Rasmussen (6) OLD BUSINESS Budget Committee members discussed ideas on what can be used with the Beach and Coastal Resources Advisory Committee remaining Budget. Presentation Rodenticide Series: Wisdom Good Works with Loretta Mayer Dr. Loretta Mayer presented a Rodenticide Series to the Beach and Coastal Resources Advisory Committee members. (7) NEW BUSINESS Presentation: Invasive Plants with Lindsay Boehner Chair Boehner gave a presentation regarding invasive plant species. (8) STAFF COMMUNICATIONS City of Marco Island Florida Page 1 Beach and Coastal Resources Meeting Minutes - Final March 15, 2023 Advisory Committee Kathryn Grigsby provided some information regarding the thermal plastic roadway signs. (9) PUBLIC COMMENT (TIME CERTAIN 10:30 A.M..) None. (10) NEXT MEETING: CONFIRMATION & ATTENDANCE Next Committee meeting will be on April 19th, 2023. (11) PROPOSED AGENDA TOPICS FOR NEXT MEETING On the proposed agenda topics for next meeting committee members will discuss the remaining budget, beach boxes, & rodenticide speakers. (12) OTHER COMMITTEE COMMUNICATIONS Chair Boehner mentioned that there will be a Beach cleanup on Saturday March 18th.
