(2) ROLL CALL Present: 7- Member Morze, Vice-Chair O'Donnell, Member Quinlan, Member Ryan, Member Scarpa, Member Rasmussen and Chair Boehner (3) PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Led by Chair Boehner (4) APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA MOTION by Member Scarpa, seconded by Member Quinlan, that this Agenda be Approved. MOTION CARRIED BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: (5) APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES ID 24-3450 Approval of the Beach and Coastal Resources Advisory Committee Meeting Minutes of January 17, 2024 MOTION by Member Scarpa, seconded by Member Rasmussen, to Approve January 17, 2024 and October 18,2023 Meeting. MOTION CARRIED BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: Yes: 7- Member Morze, Vice-Chair O'Donnell, Member Quinlan, Member Ryan, Member Scarpa, Member Rasmussen and Chair Boehner ID 24-3453 October 18,2023 Meeting Minutes (6) OLD BUSINESS (7) NEW BUSINESS New Committee Member The Committee welcomed Member Quinlan as the new committee member that has filled the vacancy last occupied by Patricia Barber. ID 24-3447 Election of Chairperson and Vice Chairperson Election of Chairperson and Vice Chairperson: Election of Chair- Member Rasmussen nominated Member Scarpa as Chair for the Beach and Coastal Resources Advisory Committee. Election of Vice-Chair- Member Ryan nominated Vice Chair O'Donnell to continue as VIce-Chair of the Beach and Coastal Resources Advisory Committee. MOTION by Member Member Rasmussen nominating Member Scarpa as Chair for the Beach and Coastal Resources Advisory Committee. (9) CITY COUNCIL COMMUNICATION ID 24-3452 Beach and Coastal Workshop - Goals Workplan Objectives Council Member Blonna discussed the Beach and Coastal Workshop and the FY 2024 work plan goals that were developed during a previous meeting. (10) PUBLIC COMMENT (TIME CERTAIN 10:00 A.M..) None. (11) NEXT MEETING: CONFIRMATION & ATTENDANCE Next meeting is scheduled for March 20th 2024. (12) PROPOSED AGENDA TOPICS FOR NEXT MEETING Chair Scarpa mentioned that they should flow-through with what was discussed on the last Beach and Coastal Resources Advisory Committee meeting. (13) OTHER COMMITTEE COMMUNICATIONS Vice-Chair O'Donnell mentioned that there will be a Friends of Tiger Tail Beach clean-up and a Beach Clean-up at South Beach on March 16th.
