Palms, Trees and Storms Beautification Advisory Committee Chair Andrew Kirlin introduced three (3) speakers for BAC's annual presentation "Palms, Trees and Storms". 1. Dr. Doug Caldwell, UF|IFAS Extension Collier County, Certified Arborist: Hurricane and Landscape Practices Concepts to Minimize High Wind Damage Best Trees and Plants to Use on Marco Island Plant Life After Irma 2. Dr. A.D. Ali, Regional Technical Advisor, Davey Tree Expert Co., Certified Arborist Tree Restoration Arborist Role in Managing an Urban Forest 3. Jessica McIntosh, Coastal Training Program Coordinator at Rookery Bay Avoiding Non-point Source Pollution Following each presentation, Speakers answered the community's questions and concerns.
