Roll Call (Note: All attending Councilors participated in this workshop via Zoom video connection) Present: 6- Chair Brechnitz, Vice-Chair Grifoni, Councilor Honig, Councilor Reed, Councilor Rios and Councilor Roman Absent: 1- Councilor Folley Also Participating Michael McNees, City Manager (via Zoom video connection) Alan L. Gabriel, City Attorney (via Zoom video connection) Others In Attendance in the Community Meeting Room: Casey Lucius, Assistant to the City Manager Laura Litzan, City Clerk Chris Byrne, Project Manager / Incident Commander Daniel J. Smith, Community Affairs Director Jose Duran, Information Technology Director Martin Luna, Video/Broadcast Technician Jim Kornas, Recording Specialist 3. Zoom Connectivity Introduction Information Technology Director Jose Duran provided insight, addressed questions and offered recommendations to facilitate the ability of the Councilors to successfully manipulate the Zoom video application from their remote locations in the event that any of them cannot physically participate in a future meeting of the Council. City Manager Michael McNees, Assistant to the City Manager Casey Lucius and City Clerk Laura Litzan assisted in support of the demonstration. A Zoom video meeting invitation and sign-in link will only be extended to Councilors who indicate in advance that they are unable to physically participate in a scheduled session of the Council. No access and participation by members of the public via the Zoom application is planned at this time. City Attorney Alan Gabriel reiterated the provisions of the City Charter that require a majority of the Council to be physically present in the meeting chambers to constitute a quorum and to conduct business. 4.
