Call to Order Chairman Folley called the meeting to order at 1:00 p.m. at the Fire Station 2nd floor Training Room. 2. Roll Call All Councilors were present. Also Present: City Manager Mike McNees City Attorneys, Alan Gabriel and Matthew Mandel Court Reporter 3. Business The Marco Island City Council and Marco Island City Manager Mike McNees met in a "closed" attorney-client session with City Attorney Alan L. Gabriel and Matthew Mandel of the law firm of Weiss Serota Helfman Cole & Bierman to discuss the following matters relating to pending litigation known as: ROBERT FERRARIE, ET. AL. v. CITY OF MARCO ISLAND, Collier County Florida Circuit Court Case No. 2022-CA-001371-0001-XX FLORIDA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS v. CITY OF MARCO ISLAND, Collier County Florida Circuit Court Case No. 2023-CA-001659-0001-XX GULFCOAST & ATLANTIC CORPORATION v. CITY OF MARCO ISLAND, Collier County Florida Circuit Court Case No. 2023-CA-001758-0001-XX Members of the public were notified that they would not be permitted to attend the meeting due to the exemption allowed by Section 286.011(8) of the Florida Statutes. The meeting was attended and recorded by a certified court reporter, and at the conclusion of all litigation discussed, the transcripts will be made part of the public record.
