. City of Margaret July 24, 2018 6:00 P.M. In attendance: Councilman Perry, Councilman Ray, Councilman Carter, and Mayor Howard Absent: Mayor Pro- McIntyre, Councilman Chapman Prayer: Mr. Barker Mayor called Meeting to order Discussion Mayor Howard asked for approval of minutes. Councilman Carter made the Motion to approve minutes for June 19, 2018. Councilman Ray seconded the Motion. Motion passed unanimously. Next on the Agenda was the discussion of business licenses. Councilman Perry made the Motion to table discussion of business licenses until everyone is present. The Motion was seconded by Councilman Ray. Motion passed unanimously. Jerome Lowery addressed the Council on the fees that are to be charged at his flea market. Mr. Lowery doesn’t want his vendors to pay the City of Margaret the $3.00 day/per table. The Council reminded Mr. Lowery that it was his suggestion that the City charge his vendors $3.00 day/per table. No Councilman sees the $300 charge as a problem. Mayor Howard will contact the City Attorney for further guidance. Councilaman Perry informed the Council that they need to focus on the City of Margaret Subdivison Rules and Regulations. Teja Peeples the City Clerk will look into getting all Council Members a copy of the rules and regulations. Councilman Carter made the Motion to adjourn. The Motion was seconded by Councilman Ray.
