. City of Margaret January 8, 2019 6:00 P.M. In attendance: Councilman Chapman, Councilman Perry, Mayor Pro-Tem McIntyre, Councilman Ray Absent: Mayor Howard, Councilman Carter Prayer: Councilman Perry Mayor Pro-Tem McIntyre called Meeting to order Discussion Mayor Pro-Tem McIntyre asked for approval of minutes for December 18, 2018. Councilman Ray made the Motion to approve minutes for December 18, 2018. Councilman Perry seconded the Motion. Motion passed unanimously. SRK Package Store application for a liquor license was next on the agenda. Councilman Chapman made the Motion to approve the liquor license for SRK Package Store. The Motion was seconded by Councilman Perry. Motion passed unanimously. Councilman Chapman made a Motion to table discussions for the new city hall. Motion was seconded by Councilman Perry. Motion passed unanimously. AMIC annual insurance premium was the next topic of discussion. Councilman Chapman made the Motion to pay the premium of $15080.00 to AMIC. Motion was seconded by Councilman Ray. Motion passed unanimously. Jerome Lowery addressed the Council about a water leak that resulted in an extremely high-water bill. The Council informed Jerome that all water adjustments are handled thru Mayor Howard. Councilman Perry informed the Council that the Brookhaven Subdivision is having a lot of problems with water runoffs because builders are not using silk fencing. Also, the Magnolia subdivision has voiced concern about roads on Facebook.  Councilman Ray informed the Council that Hunter’s Crossing residents are also voicing their concerns about the road conditions. Councilman Chapman made the Motion to adjourn. The Motion was seconded by Councilman Ray. Motion passed unanimously.
