. City of Margaret November 5, 2019 6:00 P.M. In attendance: Councilman Perry, Councilman Carter, Councilman Chapman, Mayor Pro-Tem McIntyre and Mayor Howard Absent: Councilman Ray Prayer: Mr. Barker Mayor Howard called Meeting to order Discussion Mayor Howard asked for approval of minutes for October 1, 2019. Councilman Perry made the Motion to approve minutes for October 1, 2019. Mayor Pro-Tem McIntyre seconded the Motion. Motion passed unanimously. The Council discussed the Brookhaven Plats. Mr. Harvey McWhorter who has taken over for Daryl Pittard informed the Council that there are only three developers that are owners in Brookhaven Subdivision. Mr. McWhorter also stated that the bowing under the railroad has started and will take be finished in about 3 days. McWhorter is doing upgrades to the sewer. There have been 45 lots sold in Acton Meadows, and 87 lots in Brookhaven. The ground breaking for the sold lots is projected to be before Thanksgiving or by second week in December. Mr. McWhorter was unaware of the road agreement the City of Margaret had with Daryl Pittard. Councilman Perry made the Motion to let the City Attorney Erskine Funderburg to draft an Ordinance allowing the City to charge $1000.00 for all modifications of a Plat. And Charging $2000.00 for the review of a new subdivision plats. The Motion was seconded by Mayor Pro-Tem McIntyre. Motion passed unanimously. Erskine will submit a letter to all the builders in City of Margaret. Mayor Howard will review and mark all Plats this weekend. Councilman Perry informed the Council that some people in Brookhaven  wants to get Charter Cable throughout Brookhaven. Councilman Chapman made the Motion to adjourn. Councilman Carter seconded the Motion. Motion passed unanimously.
