In attendance: Councilman James Chapman, Councilman Matthew Tortorice,
Councilman Jonathan Ray, and Mayor Pro-Tem Daryl McIntyre
Absent: Mayor Jeffrey Wilson, Councilman Darius Crump

Mayor Pro-Tem Daryl McIntyre called Meeting to order
Discussion
Mayor Pro-Tem Daryl McIntyre asked for the approval of Council
Meeting Minutes from 6-21-2022. Councilman Matthew Tortorice made
the Motion to table the minutes from the 6-21-2022 meeting in order to
look them over. Councilman Jonathan Ray seconded the Motion. Motion
passed unanimously.
Mayor Pro-Tem McIntyre asked for the approval of Special Council
Meeting Minutes from 6-29-2022. Mayor Pro-Tem McIntyre made the
motion to approve the Special Council Minutes from 6-29-2022. Councilman
James Chapman seconded the Motion. The Motion passed unanimously.
Councilman James Chapman made the Motion to table the discussion on the
Telemetry system proposed by Isaac Howard. Councilman Matthew
Tortorice seconded the Motion. The Motion passed unanimously.
Councilman Jonathan Ray made the Motion to hire Mike Shirley as an
employee for the City of Margaret to help Mr. Barker in the Inspections
Department. Mike Shirley will be hired at $20/hr., w/no insurance and be
supplied with a City vehicle. Councilman Matthew Tortorice seconded the
Motion. The Motion passed unanimously.
The Council was presented with an invoice from Moody Gusc. The Council
would like a better breakdown of the invoice and the Council would like for
David Parrish to verify the hours worked by the Moody Gusc.
Council James Chapman made a Motion to table 400 Brookside until the
next Council Meeting. Councilman Jonathan Ray seconded the Motion. The
Motion passed unanimously.
Mr. Barker suggests that the Council get a compaction test done on
Brookhaven Drive before the asphalt is put down. The completion of
Brookhaven Drive should take 3 days by the paving company.
There was no update on Stone Cove.
Councilman James Chapman would like to table the discussion on employee
rates. Councilman Jonathan Ray seconded the Motion. The Motion passed
unanimously.
Mayor Pro-Tem Daryl McIntyre asked for comments:
Councilman Jonathan Ray would like to get a rate schedule for all
employees.
Councilman James Chapman made the Motion to adjourn. Councilman
Jonathan Ray seconded the Motion. Motion passed unanimously.
Meeting adjourned at 6:38 PM.
