Steve Tumlin, Board Chairman Brian Torras, Board member Alice Summerour, Board member Ron Mull, General Manager Bill Bruton, City Manager Various City/BLW Staff Stephanie Guy, Board Clerk CALL TO ORDER: Chairman Lee called the meeting to order at 10:30 a.m. MINUTES: 20180321 Minutes - November 29, 2017 Review and approval of November 29, 2017 committee meeting minutes. A motion was made by Board member Wilson, seconded by Board member Coyle, that this matter be Approved. The motion carried by the following vote: Vote: 3 – 0 – 0 Approved BUSINESS: 20180322 General Fund Transfer Discussion and any necessary action regarding the General Fund Transfer. Finance Director Sam Lady presented a review of the financial position of the BLW and the general fund transfer history. City of Marietta Page 1 Printed on 4/3/2018 10:53:43AM BLW Budget/ Rates Committee Meeting Minutes March 12, 2018 Discussion was held regarding the request from the City for a transfer of $13.2 million. Concern was expressed regarding the amount and the need for additional information. A motion was made by Board member Wilson, seconded by Board member Lee, that this matter be tabled until additional information can be obtained. After further discussion regarding the City and BLW portions of the budget, the motion was withdrawn. A motion was made by Board member Coyle, seconded by Board member Lee, to approve a recommendation to the BLW Board to transfer $13.2 million from the from the Board of Lights and Water to the City's General Fund.
