A motion was made by Board member Tumlin, seconded by Board member Lee, that this matter be Approved. The motion carried by the following vote: Vote: 3 – 0 – 0 Approved Absent: Bruce Coyle (Exoffico member voting due to a lack of quorum of regular members.) BUSINESS: 20231015 2024 Electric Rates Discussion and recommendation for 2024 Electric Rates. Motion to approve the recommendation from the Budget/ Rates Committee that there be a 2 ½ percent increase of electric rates effective January 1, 2024 and an additional increase of 2 ½ percent effective October 1, 2024. The motion carried by the following vote: Vote: 4 – 0 – 0 Approved 20231017 2024 Water Rates Discussion and recommendation regarding 2024 water rates. Motion to approve the recommendation from the Budget/ Rates Committee that there be a 3 percent increase of water rates effective January 1, 2024. The motion was made by Board member Tumlin, seconded by Board member Lee, that this matter be Approved. The motion carried by the following vote: Vote: 4 – 0 – 0 Approved 2024 Wastewater Rates Discussion and recommendation for 2024 Wastewater Rates. Motion to approve the recommendation from the Budget/ Rates Committee that there be no change in the 2024 wastewater rates. The motion was made by Board member Coyle, seconded by Board member Lee, that this matter be Approved.
