Requested by Council Member Andy Morris 20220924 ARPA Available Funds Motion to expend up to $2,000,000.00 for purchase and development in our Parks system for two health driven, family-oriented parks to consider, but not limited to, youth oriented activities, walking, biking, “Pickle ball”, pavilions, skate board parks, and possibly a small splash pad. Limited lighted areas and efforts to put in activities that are not in our other parks. Said funds shall be equally divided between: a.) In the Burnt Hickory and Anderson Road area and b.) the enhanced conversion of the Wallace Road compost area to a Park. Said funds shall be from the unexpended ARPA and the expenditures in compliance with the quality of life enhancement of this Federal Grant.
