Council member Goldstein disclosed that he, his family members and/or entities that he owns or have an interest in, own property in the Central Business District (CBD). 20170417 Downtown Business Dumpster Plan · Overall Plan-developed for 3 year implementation · City to adhere to its own Ordinance · Explore allowing private property dumpster locations to be able to opt out of City program and then be subject to Ordinance · Users such as Restaurants/Bars to pay higher fees than non-food users · Explore a Hansell St./Dobbs St. reengineering with City obtaining a Dumpster pad complete with water faucet and enclosed sanitary enclosure as first of several enclosed dumpsters. · Decide first on overall plan, then incremental adaptation of such plan.
