VILLAGE OF MARQUETTE GREEN LAKE COUNTY, WISCONSIN Regular Meeting Minutes, July 10, 2023 - Village Hall The regular meeting of the Village Board, for the Village of Marquette, was called to order by President Cybul at 7:00p.m. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Roll Call: President – Art Cybul - present Clerk – Christina Garry –present Trustee – Peter Michalos - present Treasurer – Paula Gilbertson – present Trustee Tony Deiss - present There were 2 citizens in attendance. Certification of Compliance with the Open Meetings Law: Agenda notice was posted in three public places - Village Hall door, kiosks at the Post Office and Truck Garage, also posted on the Village Website and emailed to Berlin Journal Newspapers. A motion to approve the agenda was made. Deiss/Michalos. Motion passed. (Unanimous). Approval of Minutes sent to Board Members: All minutes are posted on the Village Website and in the kiosks as a draft for the Board and the public to review. No changes made. A motion was made to approve the minutes as presented. Michalos/Deiss. Motion passed. (Unanimous). The Treasurer’s report was read. Motion to approve the treasurer’s report as read. Michalos/Deiss. Motion passed. (Unanimous). Approve Payment of Bills: Presented for payment were vouchers 9709-9734 in the amount of $8,649.71 plus $4,000.00 for the maintained balance and utilities for a Grand total of $12,649.71. Motion to pay the bills as presented and transfer from the appropriate accounts the amount of $15,000.00 to the General Fund. Deiss/Michalos. Motion passed. (Unanimous). Citizen Comments – Time Limits and Rules Apply: None currently. Discuss / Approve: Traffic Solar Sign, solar traffic sign on a trailer that will be able to be moved around on village streets. Art will be working out the fine specs with the Engineer of the DOT. Update on Dan Sondalle Call, talked with Dan Sondalle about ordinance issues within the village. Set Date for review finances, Wednesday July 27th 2023 County H Agreement, the county is recommending to put in curbs, at a later date they talked about setting up a meeting with Derek, from the county to be able to explain to the citizens why the curbs are necessary for the project. Board Reminders/Updates: Art talked about Trailer/RV Ordinances within the village on residents’ properties. Motion to adjourn at 8:50 p.m. Michalos/Deiss. Motion passed. Unanimous.
