Town Board Minutes December 31, 2019 MINUTES Regular Town Council Meeting, Town of Massena Date/Time: Wednesday, December 31, 2019, 4:30 pm Location: Massena Town Hall ATTENDANCE: MEMBER PRESENT ABSENT Supervisor Steve O’Shaughnessy X Councilman Albert Nicola X Councilman Thom Miller X Councilman Samuel Carbone, Jr. X Councilwoman Melanie Cunningham X ALSO PRESENT: Pamela Catanzarite-Town Clerk, Sue Bellor, Robert Elsner, Media The Supervisor opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance. The Supervisor continued the meeting with a 15-Minute Public Comment Period. Presentations and Discussions Discussion about the transfer of the Massena Memorial Hospital to St. Lawrence Health System. No Action was taken at this meeting. Town attorney said the transfer would take place at the MMH Meeting this evening. Approval by the state to transfer all necessary items are in place and will be finalized in the next 30 days. Thank you to Jason Cantonella as he has done an incredible amount of work to make this happen. Motion to adjourn meeting by Councilman Miller, Second by Councilwoman Cunningham.
